AIP Joins APPEX 2027 as Alliance Partner

The Australasian Institute of Packaging (AIP) and APPEX are pleased to announce they have formed an alliance partnership for the next event in 2027.

The partnership will see AIP have a presence on the show floor  showcasing its full range of packaging degrees, and educational offerings for anyone who wishes to fill their knowledge gaps. The AIP education team will also be available to discuss the latest in sustainable packaging design, packaging and material trends and government regulations. In addition the AIP will showcase winners from the Australasian Packaging Innovation & Design (PIDA) Awards, the PIDA STUDENT awards and WorldStar Awards on their stand.

On forming the partnership, Nerida Kelton, AIP Executive Director said “APPEX is one of the leading processing and packaging trade shows in Australia, and as the peak professional body for packaging education & training in Australia, it only makes sense for the AIP to become an alliance partner with the 2027 edition of the show.”

AIP and APPEX will be working on additional collaborative opportunities in the lead up to the show with announcements in 2026.

About APPEX

APPEX was formed in 2024 on the 35-year foundation of the former AUSPACK event, taking what was previously a packaging-focussed event and combining it with the processing industry in what was a 50% larger event. APPEX is now every 3 years uniting the best in processing and packaging machinery as well as materials, packaging and ancillary equipment.

APPEX 2027 offers an education program as well as unique networking areas designed to allow visitors and exhibitors to connect, network and to enjoy their day at the event.
