Melbourne automation solution provider Cobot Pty Ltd to launch Jaka range at AUSPACK 2022

Melbourne automation solution provider Cobot Pty Ltd has chosen Auspack 2022 for the official Australian launch of the Jaka range of collaborative robots. Jaka collaborative robots are well suited to the Australian market owing to their affordability, ease of use and exceptional reliability, having been certified 20,000hrs MTBF.

Cobot Pty Ltd are the Australian agent for the Jaka range, which is one of the largest in the collaborative robot market, with payloads from 1kg to 18kg, and working reach ranging from 576mm to 1,327mm, all operating from 240-volt single phase power.

“We’ve chosen Auspack in Melbourne to launch the Jaka range because it’s Australia’s premier show specifically targeting the food, beverage and packaging industry” according to Andrew Quayle, owner of Cobot Pty Ltd. “this sector is such an important part of the Australian economy, and we believe our solutions appeal to a lot of small and medium manufacturers” he continued.

Cobot Pty Ltd are a provider of turnkey automation solutions such as their low-cost hybrid collaborative palletising system which can palletise at up to 7 cartons per minute, each weighing up to 9kg. Auspack will be the official launch of the Cobot Palletising System, even though systems have been supplied to the food and beverage sector since the middle of 2021.

In addition to palletising, carton erecting and packing systems, Cobot will also be showing collaborative lift and slide units designed for robots and demonstrating how easy it is to program and operate the Jaka robots via their wireless teach pendant with a very hands-on experience.
