Meat processors, Meyer Food, engaged Aerofloat to design, build and install a wastewater treatment system for its brand new meat processing facility in Sydney. Meyer Food are experts in sous vide cooking. Aerofloat's wastewater treatment system was required to manage high levels of suspended solids and grease, which is common in meat processing. Aerofloat's engineer's recommended the AeroDAF 200, alongside other equipment. It's a self cleaning, low maintenance proprietary DAF from Aerofloat, that's capable of processing around 12,000L per hour. Aerofloat's 3D CAD modelling was critical to designing a system to work well within the unusual space.
