APPEX 27 is proud to partner with the Victorian Government to showcase Australia's leading processing and packaging industry exhibition to Victorian manufacturers.
Held in Victoria, the home of Australian manufacturing, APPEX 27 is returning to the Melbourne Convention Exhibition Centre from 16-19 March 2027. It brings together the largest-ever showing of Australian and international suppliers from across processing and packaging technology, supply chain and traceability solutions, digital manufacturing and industry 4.0, automation and robotics, and sustainable packaging and materials solutions.
Run by industry, for industry, APPEX 2027 will deliver four days of innovation, networking, live demonstrations and business opportunities across every sector of processing and packaging. As Australia’s largest processing and packaging expo, APPEX 2027 is expected to attract key decision-makers from food and beverage, pharmaceutical, FMCG, logistics and manufacturing industries across Australia and New Zealand.
Victoria remains a powerhouse in Australia’s food and beverage manufacturing sector, which is worth more than $50 billion and responsible for exporting $14.4 billion in goods in 2024-25. In addition, the state is continuing to expand in pharmaceuticals, with exports now worth over $3.3 billion in value in 2024-25.
“Our processing and packaging industries are an important part of the economy, supporting businesses, jobs and supply chains across the state. We’re proud to showcase the innovation and expertise of Victorian manufacturers and back the industry to grow and create more secure, well-paying jobs,” said Victorian Minister for Industry and Advanced Manufacturing Melissa Horne.
The Victorian Government’s support highlights the importance of innovation, collaboration and investment in the future of Australian manufacturing and reinforces Victoria’s position as a global hub for advanced industry and technology.
